The Berkey Creamery at Penn State is legendary for its array of ice cream — all made on campus at the university’s food science building.
Seriously. It’s the place to be.
So, it’s no wonder why Matt Engle and his son decided to stop by the campus staple during a college visit last week.
Just inside the doors, he saw something familiar sitting above The Diner’s famous grilled stickies.
There they were: Wolfgang’s Penn State Pretzel Fudgies.
Engle’s Lancaster-based firm, Maclay & Shoemaker Graphics, designed the boxfront for the product, an officially licensed tailgating treat.
The pretzels are coated with a layer of white fudge and accented with blue stripes.
They’re the perfect gameday gift for that Penn State fan who already has all the bobbleheads, t-shirts and stadium seat cushions they can handle.
(And we hear they’re pretty good with ice cream, too!)
