Wolfgang Candy Company Hosting Special Guest from the North Pole
Community invited to welcome Santa to York
YORK, Pa. - Wolfgang Candy Company Inc. today announced they are expecting a very special visitor at their factory on Saturday, November 27, when Santa Claus takes a break from his hectic pre-holiday schedule to pay a call on the Wolfgang family.
"I always make time during my busy season to visit the Wolfgang Candy Company," said Mr. Claus. "The Wolfgang family and their employees have been such a big help to Mrs. Claus, the elves and me - making goodies for kids and grown-ups since way back in 1921. I have my hands full making toys, so I appreciate the assistance I get every year from my friends in York."
Wolfgang Candy invites the community to visit with Santa Claus at Das Sweeten Haus on E. 4th Avenue from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday. Children are reminded to bring a sweet tooth as candy will be given out, and free photos with Santa will be provided with any purchase of $10 or more. All visitors are encouraged to bring their Christmas wish lists, as Santa will be taking requests in person to save York residents the costly postage to the North Pole.
"We are very pleased that, despite this being his busiest time of the year, Santa has made Wolfgang Candy a stop on his pre-Christmas tour," said Kathy Krout, retail marketing manager at Wolfgang Candy. "I hear Mr. Claus is quite a chocolate connoisseur, but I think he might also be looking to pick up a few tips on seasonal production!"
