York, Pennsylvania (July 1, 2008) Mr. Benjamin McGlaughlin, a Managing Partner of Wolfgang Candy Company has been named President & CEO of the 87-year-old family-owned and operated candy manufacturer located in York, Pennsylvania. A fourth generation confectioner, Mr. McGlaughlin is the great grandson of Delphi and Mima Mae Wolfgang Candy founders, grandson to Glenn and Elizabeth Wolfgang, son to Senior Managing Partner Dennis McGlaughlin and Linda (Wolfgang) McGlaughlin. Mr. McGlaughlin learned about the confectionery business since childhood, having worked at the family factory throughout his teenage years. Mr. McGlaughlin returned to the Wolfgang Candy Company in 2003 to oversee Finance, Human Resources & Risk Management as Managing Partner, Finance & Administration.

Mr. McGlaughlin earned a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from West Chester University, managed Assets Protection for Philadelphia retailer Strawbridge & Clothier, and participated in the companys Executive Development Program in preparation for the role of store manager. Mr. McGlaughlins career path next led him to management positions in two major Philadelphia hospitals, Pennsylvania Hospital and The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia. For the hospitals, he managed Support Services for Security, Parking, Transportation, Guest Relations and the Gift Shop, the success of these divisions was dependant on effectively coordinating their management, instead of running each department as a separate entity. Mr. McGlaughlins memberships include: Professional Member of SHRM, Society for Human Resource Management, and Member SCIP, Society for Competitive Intelligence Professionals. He serves on the Board of Hands-on House in Lancaster, PA.

Regarding his new role as company President & CEO, Mr. McGlaughlin said, The key to Wolfgangs future will be to remember and cherish our past, while embracing paths that lead us into the future. That means being willing to abandon some old methods and practices in order to adapt technology and attain efficiency. The key to doing this successfully is through our talented and dedicated workforce. Managing that workforce is a leadership team at Wolfgang with much experience in both family business and the confectionery industry.

Mr. McGlaughlin resides in Lancaster, PA.

Mr. Paul Anthony has recently joined Wolfgang Candy Company as Controller. In his new role at Wolfgang, Mr. Anthony will be responsible for directing the financial affairs of the organization and preparing financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. He will be responsible for the company's financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports. He will supervise general accounting, cost accounting, and the budgetary controls processes.

As an experienced Senior Financial Manager, Mr. Anthony brings significant financial leadership experience in the food industry, most recently having served as Controller for Holly Poultry, Inc. Baltimore, MD, until May 2008, and previous to that role, as Assistant Controller and CFO of Stauffer Biscuit Company, Inc., in York, PA, until August 2006. His previous positions include serving as Director of Finance, Adjunct Instructor and CFO.

Wolfgang Candy Company President & CEO, Benjamin McGlaughlin shared, The management team at Wolfgang is excited to welcome Paul Anthony. His strong, diverse finance background will well serve Wolfgang Candys goals for growth and stability. His IT/systems implementation background will assist Wolfgang with enhanced knowledge and capabilities driving E-commerce initiatives, and MRP and supply chain efficiencies. Wolfgang Candys recent growth on a national level presents challenges for the Corporation.
