Brad McGlaughlin is the great grandson of Delphi Eli and Mima Mae Wolfgang, Wolfgang Candy founders, and a grandson to Glenn Wolfgang. Brad spent much of his later childhood in the plant. After college, Brad also spent two years in Wolfgang Candy’s confectionery kitchen learning the art and science of candy manufacturing from both his grandfather Glenn and father Dennis.
Brad earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education at Messiah College and was a four year college soccer player. After college Brad continued to pursue his passion for soccer, playing professionally in Charlotte, North Carolina for eight seasons with the Charlotte Eagles, a division of Missionary Athletes International. During this time Brad also directed the organizations soccer camp and clinics programs reaching approximately 5,000 youths per year in Charlotte and along the east coast.
Brad returned to Wolfgang Candy in 2003 in the capacity of plant manager. Brad was responsible for building and developing Wolfgang Candy’s food safety and quality programs, including the initial certifications and several exemplary third-party and customer audits. He is currently Vice President of Operations overseeing all production, plant maintenance and operations.
Brad is the organizations representative with PMCA and other confectionery and snack groups.
