ur Visitor Center and Museum features illustrations of old-time American candy craftsmen. You'll see many special display cases filled with wooden sugar molds, glass candy jars, and many other priceless antiques. You'll also see a video of the Wolfgang candy-making process ... along with a complete history of the Wolfgang family who made their candy making dream come true in the founding of "Das Sweeten Haus". Be sure and stop by our Candy Store during your visit as well as our turn of the century ice cream soda fountain!

WOLFGANG CANDY'S ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT
Tours leave promptly on the hour. Please plan on arriving 15 minutes before the tour you would like to take in order to get registered.
For groups of 8 or more, please call or e-mail in advance for tour reservations. Group Tour Hours: M-F 9:00am, 11:00am and 1:00pm
Every child under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult and hold their hand.
The factory tour at Wolfgang will require walking 1/4 mile including three flights of stairs.
Picture taking is not allowed in production areas, but is welcome in our museum and candy shoppe
CLOTHING and SHOES
- Clean outer garments are required.
- Sleeved shirts are requested.
- Enclosed toed shoes are required.
- "Heelies" are not permitted.
HAIR
Everyone taking the tour must wear provided hairnet, including net for beards, long mustaches and long sideburns.
PERSONAL ITEMS
- Jewelry of any type is prohibited. The only exception is a solid band ring and Medical Alert Id.
- Smoking inside any building is prohibited.
- Any personal items must be moved to pockets or bags carried below the waist.
- Bags must be fastened closed.
The loss of any personal items must be immediately reported to an appropriate Wolfgang representative. Wolfgang Candy is not responsible for any loss of personal items.
FOOD ITEMS
Gum chewing, food and beverages are prohibited in the factory.
CONDUCT
All cell phones must be turned off or silent in the production areas.
Touching of any products or equipment is prohibited.
Failure to follow rules and regulations could result in removal from the tour.

Are reservations required?
Reservations are only needed for groups of 8 or more. Make reservations.
Will we get to make candy?
No, due to FDA regulations and guidelines we cannot allow our guest to participate in making candy.
Why are there kids on the website making candy?
These children are our Spring and Fall fundraising Grand Prize winners. To learn how you can become a Wolfgang Chocolatier please see our fundraising page.
How long is the tour?
Our tours generally last 45 minutes to an hour depending on questions asked by tour members.
Can pictures be taken?
Cameras are permitted in our museum and Das Sweeten Haus ONLY. Photos are NOT permitted in the 2 candy factories.
Are you handicapped accessible?
Our museum and Das Sweeten Haus are the only accessible buildings.
Are there age restrictions?
There are No age restrictions. However, every child 6 and under MUST be accompanied by an Adult. Please keep in mind this is an operating factory with loud machinery and moving parts. Children also must be able to keep hair nets on during the tour.
Are strollers permitted?
Strollers are ONLY permitted in our museum and Das Sweeten Haus.
Do you have a gift Shop?
Yes, Das Sweeten Haus Center is open Monday thru Friday 8 am to 4:30pm. Saturday 10 am to 3pm. Sunday closed. Check Website for special holiday hours.
Do you have a place where my tour group can eat lunch?
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate a large group. However, there is an adjacent park with a pavilion to enjoy your picnic lunch.
Do you serve food?
We currently serve ice cream, soda and milk shakes in Das Sweeten Haus at our antique soda fountain.
