Seven to Three-Thirty

I smell the chocolate as I walk down the street, Please let the day go fast I hear from my feet.

When I walk through the door it almost feels like home, Alright the radio's playing my favorite country song.

My co-workers are there with a friendly greeting, Telling me who's not there who's at a meeting.

The clock says its time to start our day, We're all standing in front of it in each others way.

Time to start, belts going too fast, It isn't the first time won't be the last.

Someone always has a story to share, nowing we're among those who care.

Perhaps a story of a grandchild or son...how awesome they are or how fast they run.

Lunch is here can't wait to eat, For dessert I'll have a chocolate treat.

It's soon time for us all to go, Now the times going really slow...

We'll be back before ya know it - Different day, different date.

But its all the same, so don't be late.
